FSA (Farm Service Agency) grant work is ongoing to restore the burned areas, as well as reduce fuel loading in green lands.

All of the ranch contained high fuel loading before the fire. This subjected the forest to what is known as a Stand Replacement Fire, causing a near 100% mortality rate.
